Background Information

At the February 14, 2017 City Commission meeting, the Commission directed the City Manager and City Attorney to establish an administrative process and procedure for reserving meeting rooms within City Hall for use not related to City business.  Ordinance No. 2018-02 was prepared and brought to Commission on February 1, 2018.  At the February 1, 2018 meeting, the Commission directed the following change:

1.                     The use of meeting rooms at City Hall, meeting rooms determined by the City Manager and shall be available for use only by governmental entities, government sponsored or City affiliated entities, or for other City government purposes. The City Manager will establish the request form and the City meeting room charges may apply as determined by City Manager.

As a result, Resolution No. 2018-R-07 is being presented to Commission for adoption with the requested changes.
