Recommended Action
Discussion and provide direction related to any desired changes regarding the Commission’s Boards and Committees.
Background Information
At the October 10, 2017 City Commission meeting, the Commission provided direction for the City Manager to schedule a workshop regarding the Commission’s boards and committees. For reference, the attachments are as follows:
• City Code Chapter 4, Boards and Committees,
• ULDC Sections 1-28 and 1-29 related to the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board and the Zoning Board of Appeals
• Memorandum of Understanding - Joint Management Advisory Board
• Resolution 97-R-14 - Citizens Tax Oversight Committee
• City Code related to the Police and Fire Pension Boards
There was considerable conversation regarding this meeting with the ultimate consensus being that a workshop be schedule.
