TITLE:                     Ordinance No. 2018-01, second reading, amending the Code of the City, Chapter 4, to add new Article IX - Environmental Advisory Board, Sections 4-180 to 4-189, establishing the Environmental Advisory Board

 

 

Recommended Action

 

Adopt Ordinance No. 2018-01

 

Background Information

 

At its February 27, 2018 regular meeting, the City Commission continued Ordinance No. 2018-01 to second reading, with the following revisions:

 

                     Title - change “environmental advisory board” to “environmental advisory committee”;

                     Remove all references to “historic” throughout;

                     Add references to “wildlife habitat” in the third whereas clause, as well as code sections 4-181 and 4-182;

                     Add “desire” to code section 4-181;

                     Remove second sentence of code section 4-181; and

                     In code subsections 4-182(b)(1) and (2), change “policy and best practices to preserve and promote” to “matters pertaining to preserving and promoting.”
