Background Information
Engaging in kind actions and good deeds for others has the power to create positive change in society, nourish and strengthen our Community, and help to make the world a friendlier and more courteous place.
Consistent with the expressed interest of the Commission to highlight the positive aspects of Kindness within our City, the attached Resolution supports the evolution of the “Kindness Community”. Mrs. Jacqueline Moore will provide a short presentation pertaining to “Kindness Community”, which she initiated in October 2016 as a conscious Community-wide focus that brings our community together and encourages acts of Kindness. The City Attorney has reviewed the Resolution.
