Background Information

As a City, we take pride in our recycling efforts - single use bags undermine our established recycling efforts.  Plastic bags are slowly ruining our environment in more ways than just litter strewn about our roads and neighborhoods.  Single use bags also affect our wildlife in many ways, as depicted in the provided links.  The Resolution has been reviewed by the City Attorney as to form and correctness.
