Background Information

On July 12, 2022, Commission authorized the acquisition of a parcel of land located on Pan American Boulevard via Resolution 2022-R-39 for the utility administration building. Part of the purchase and sale agreement required the seller to grant the City a permanent access easement and two fifteen-foot temporary construction easements over a portion of the adjoining property. The permanent easement is necessary for perpetual ingress and egress access for pedestrian and vehicular use to the site. The temporary construction easement permits the City to construct the permanent easement for vehicles, equipment, pedestrians, and any other utility use within the easement.

Resolution No. 2022-R-62 has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
