Background Information
The City of North Port would like to express their appreciation to Richard Lockhart for his 8-years of service to the City. He was elected to the City Commission in 2000 and was a huge proponent for significant public infrastructure projects. He advocated for senior citizens to Public transportation, was instrumental in opening the Veteran’s Office at City Hall and was an active member of the North Port Kiwanis Club for 22 years.
