Background Information
The Department of Public Works is seeking to purchase property located on Radcliff Avenue, Parcel Identification No. 0989029516, currently owned by Ivan Dankanich. This property acquisition will provide access to Retention Ditch 150 (R-150) and allow permanent access for future maintenance and rehabilitation of the stormwater conveyance system. An appraisal report completed on April 14, 2025, by Hettema Saba, LLC, listed the property value at $28,500.00. Public Works has worked with American Acquisition Group, LLC to purchase this property and an agreement has been reached by the seller to sell the property to the North Port Road and Drainage District for $30,000.00.
Resolution No. 2025-R-42 has been reviewed by the Interim City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
