Recommended Action
City Commission approve PLF-22-273, Preto Blvd South Extension.
General Information
John Luczynski, on behalf of Manasota Beach Ranchlands, LLLP and Lennar Homes, LLC, requests review and approval of the plat for the extension of Preto Boulevard from the current intersection with Manasota Beach Road approximately 6,250 LF southwest to the City limits.
The proposed roadway follows the western boundary of Village I and the eastern boundary of Village J, as a public, collector right-of-way (ROW).
The West Villages Improvement District (WVID) has reviewed and approved the plat.
A surety bond of $6,065,154.14 has been received by the City.
The plat has been reviewed and approved by the contracted City Surveyor.
On March 16, 2023 during a regular meeting, the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board voted unanimously to recommend approval to City Commission
