TITLE:                     Discussion and Possible Action Regarding Adding Conservation to the Approved Reasons for Property Acquisition

 

 

Recommended Action

 

Discussion and possible action to add conservation to the list of approved reasons for the acquisition of property by the City.

 

Background Information

 

At the December 5, 2019, Special Commission Meeting, the Commission reviewed the list of City-owned properties and their future uses which included future parks, drainage access, infrastructure needs, and lots to use for swapping for archaeological sites, and affordable housing. 

 

Vice-Mayor Luke has requested that the Commission consider the addition of conservation as one of the reasons or future uses for the purchase of real property.
