Recommended Action
The City Commission approve PLF-22-219, Strand at Cedar Grove Final Plat.
General Information
Strickland T. Smith, P.E., on behalf of Centex Homes, requests a review of the Final Plat of 244 single-family detached lots and their associated roadway, stormwater, and utility tracts and easements. Strand at Cedar Grove is located within the Panacea Development of Regional Impact, specifically south and west of Panacea Blvd., east of the Cypress Falls community, and north of the Cedar Grove community. The site is approximately ± 181.69 acres.
In January 2022, the Development Master Plan for “Woodlands Parcel E” was approved by the City Commission. In June 2022, the Infrastructure Plan (INF-22-011) and Subdivision Concept Plan (SCP-22-012) for “Cedar Grove Phase 3” (FKA Woodlands Parcel E) were approved by City Staff. The City received a surety bond in the amount of $2,376,828.19 for the infrastructure improvements.
The City Surveyor has reviewed and approved the Strand at Cedar Grove Final Plat.
At their January 19th, 2023, regular meeting, the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board voted unanimously, 6-0, to recommend approval of PLF-22-219.
