Background Information

During the Commission Retreat on January 6, 2026, there was discussion regarding reviewing policy language related to whether consensus’ must be by majority or unanimous approval during City Commission Workshops. Resolution No. 2026-R-22 modifies that language to allow for majority approval for consensus.

Language is also modified to change “recording secretary” to “board specialist” to match the appropriate job title and to change “Zoning Board of Appeals” to the correct title of “Zoning Hearing Officer.”
