Background Information

In 2019, The City entered into a Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Contract #H0131 with the Division of Emergency Management for the Generator Project to supply City Hall with a sufficient back-up power supply in the event of a power outage. This contract has three prior approved modifications for additional funding and extending the time to complete the project.

Modification #4 was approved by the Florida Department of Emergency Management to extend the period of the grant to May 31, 2023 and increase federal funding by $80,735.25, for the maximum amount payable under the agreement to $847,385.25. The additional approved federal funding was granted after the generator manufacturer increased their pricing causing an increase of $107,647.35 to the overall project.
