Recommended Action
Appointment of Thomas Nicholson as a Regular Member to the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board.
Background Information
There are currently one (1) vacancy for a Regular Member on the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board, and two (2) Alternate Member vacancies. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received one (1) application from Thomas Nicholson for the Regular Member position and there have been no other applications submitted. Mr. Nicholson has been a resident of North Port for seven (7) years and is seeking a second appointment to the Board. His attendance on the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board was excellent and none of his absences had a negative affect the quorum requirements to hold the meeting. His application has been provided for review and consideration.
