TITLE:                     Appoint Mary Dougherty to the Community Economic Development Advisory Board as the Development, Engineering or Planning Representative to serve from February 25, 2020 to February 25, 2022.

 

 

Recommended Action

 

Appoint Mary Dougherty to the Community Economic Development Advisory Board as the Development, Engineering or Planning Representative to serve from February 25, 2020 to February 25, 2022.

 

Background Information

 

Currently there are three (3) vacancies on the Community Economic Development Advisory Board including one (1) vacancy for the Development, Engineering or Planning Representative.  The vacancies have been announced as required and the City Clerk has received one (1) application from Mary Dougherty.  Ms. Dougherty lived in North Port from 1979 to 1999 and currently resides in Charlotte County.  This Board does not have residency requirement for those applicants who fit the criteria.  Ms. Dougherty serves on no other Boards or Committees in North Port and her application has been provided for review and consideration.
