TITLE: Appointment of Kevin Vespia as the fifth Trustee chosen by a majority vote of the other four trustees to serve a two-year term on the North Port Police Officer's Pension Board.
Recommended Action
That the Commission, in accordance with the Pension Legislation, as a ministerial duty, appoint Kevin Vespia to the North Port Police Officer’s Pension Board.
Background Information
At the September 9, 2019 North Port Police Pension Board of Trustees meeting, Kevin Vespia was elected by a majority vote of the other four trustees to serve a two-year term as the fifth Trustee to the Pension Board. Per the Pension Legislation, Mr. Vespia’s name is being submitted to the North Port City Commission where they shall, as a ministerial duty, appoint such person to the Board as the fifth Trustee.
