TITLE: Appoint Alice White to the Beautification and Tree/Scenic Highway Committee to Serve from January 2, 2020 to January 2, 2022.
Recommended Action
Appoint Alice White as a Regular Member on the Beautification and Tree/Scenic Highway Committee to serve from January 2, 2020 to January 2, 2022.
Background Information
Currently there are six (6) Regular Member and two (2) Alternate Member vacancies on the Beautification and Tree/Scenic Highway Committee. The vacancies have been announced as required and the City Clerk has received applications from Ms. White and one (1) other citizen. Ms. White has been a resident of North Port for approximately 30 years and currently serves on no other Boards or Committees. Ms. White served on the Citizens’ Tax Oversight Committee from May 23, 2017 through December 3, 2019 at which time she resigned her position to apply for the Beautification and Tree/Scenic Highway Committee. While serving on the Citizens’ Tax Oversight Committee her attendance was excellent. Her application has been provided for review and consideration.
