Recommended Action
Approve the appointment of William Stearns as a Regular Member of the Historic & Cultural Advisory Board, to serve a term from June 11, 2024, to June 11, 2029.
Background Information
Currently, there are seven vacancies for Regular Members for the Historic & Cultural Advisory Board. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received one application from William Stearns. Ms. Stearns has been a resident of North Port for over twelve months and does not currently serve on any other Board or Committee. Florida Statutes 112.3143 regarding conflict disclosures is not applicable for this applicant. His application has been submitted for review and consideration.
