Background Information

> July 12, 2022: During the City Commission Regular Meeting, the Commission approved Construction Contract No. 2022-26 - Water Pipeline Bridge Replacements for the replacement of the water pipelines affixed to bridge crossings along Haberland Boulevard, Woodhaven Drive and North Toledo Blade Boulevard.

> November 22, 2022: During the City Commission Regular Meeting, the Commission approved Amendment No. 1 to Contract 2022-26, which added the Ortiz Boulevard bridge watermain to the scope of the project.

> February 14, 2023: During the City Commission Regular Meeting, the Commission approved Amendment No. 2 which added the replacement of the wastewater pipeline at the MacCaughey Waterway bridge crossing along Price Boulevard to the scope of the project, which is necessary due to the Price Boulevard Widening Project moving forward.
The bid schedule included in Amendment No. 2 only included 200 linear feet for the bore. The length of the bore should have been 300 linear feet, as listed on the plans. Amendment No. 3 corrects the bid error. Additional funding is also needed for the Ortiz Boulevard Watermain Bridge Crossing Project.
