TITLE: North Port Educational Center Tenant Lease Agreement with the Senior Friendship Center, Inc. in the amount of $2,400.
Recommended Action
Approve a Tenant Lease Agreement with the Senior Friendship Center for a term of one year, effective October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017, at a cost of $200/month for an annual lease of $2,400.
Background Information
The Senior Friendship Center, Inc. provides lunches and activities Monday through Friday at the North Port Educational Center to senior citizens residing in North Port.
The lease amount of $200/per month is unchanged from the current lease agreement. A provision has been incorporated in the terms of the lease to allow tenants to automatically renew after the initial term. It also provides the commission with the ability to increase rents after proper notice.
The 2016-2017 Tenant Lease Agreement has been reviewed and revised by the City Attorney.
