Background Information
Through performing their jobs day in day out, rain or shine, with excellence, Garbage Men and Women keep our local community and the world at large safe and clean. Many people may not realize the enormous environmental impacts of recycling programs or how their local sanitation is positively impacting the world environment. Sanitation workers are “Keeping You and the Environment Safe” capturing the true mission of these individuals.
It is fitting that we recognize and honor the continuing contributions of our Garbage Men and Women by observing the “National Garbage Man Week.”
