Approve Resolution No. 2023-R-22 as presented.

Background Information

The Price Boulevard widening project will alter the drainage and grading of the existing roadway and adjacent lots. These impacts require adjustment to the grading and driveways of the privately owned improved and unimproved lots along the project corridor. There are approximately 216 properties along the limits of the Price Boulevard widening project that will need to be adjusted to accommodate the proposed cross section of the roadway. To provide the necessary improvements, a temporary construction easement varying in width from 15 feet to 25 feet from the existing right of way will be needed for each parcel along the project. The attached Resolution allows staff to collect and record these temporary construction easements to allow the project’s contractor to enter the privately owned parcels and perform the necessary work.

Resolution No. 2023-R-22 has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
