Discussion and Possible Action to Appoint Gid Pool and Joseph Majorino on the Charter Review Advisory Board to Serve a Term from November 10, 2020 to November 10, 2022.
Background Information
Currently there is one vacancy for a Regular Member and two vacancies for Alternate Members on the Charter Review Advisory Board. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received two applications and it is requested that the Commission appoint one applicant as a Regular Member and the other as an Alternate I Member. The first applicant is from Gid Pool. Mr. Pool has never served on a North Port Advisory Board or Committee, has been a resident of North Port for over 12 months, and does not presently serve on any other Boards or Committees. The second applicant is Joseph Majorino. Mr. Majorino has never served on a North Port Advisory Board or Committee, has been a resident of North Port for over 12 months, and does not presently serve on any other Boards or Committees. There have been no other applications submitted. The applications have been provided for review and consideration.
