Recommended Action
Approval of the appointment of Mark Mousty for a second term as a regular member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, to serve a three-year term from April 26, 2022, to April 26, 2025.
Background Information
Currently, there are two regular member vacancies and two alternate member vacancies on the Zoning Board of Appeals. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received one application from Mark Mousty and there have been no other applications submitted. Mr. Mousty is currently seeking to serve a second term on the Zoning Board of Appeals. He has been a resident of North Port for over 12 months and does not presently serve on any other Board or Committee. His attendance has been consistent and has not negatively affected the Board regarding a quorum. There have been no prior voting conflict disclosures on file with the City by said applicant in accordance with FS 112.3143(6). His application has been provided for review and consideration.
