TITLE: Approve an Amendment to the Community Development Block Grant Subrecipient Agreement Between Sarasota County, Florida, and the City of North Port, Florida, to Fund Surveying and Construction of Sidewalks in the Amount of $110,050, Contract Number B-18-UC-12-0014.
Recommended Action
Approve an Amendment to the Community Development Block Grant Subrecipient Agreement between Sarasota County, Florida, and the City of North Port, Florida, to fund surveying and construction of sidewalks in the amount of $110,050, Contract Number B-18-UC-12-0014.
Background Information
The Amendment to the Subrecipient Agreement will provide the Department of Public Works with an additional $10,050, increasing the total Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for the surveying and construction of sidewalks to $110,050. The funding will be utilized for the surveying and construction of sidewalks at the following locations:
? Pan American Boulevard, from La Brea Street to Sydney Avenue
? South Biscayne Drive, from North Port Boulevard to Goings Lane
? Porto Bello Avenue, from Nele Street to Ancon Street
The Amendment to the Subrecipient Agreement will be presented to the Sarasota County Board of Commissioners for their review and approval during their meeting on February 25, 2020.
The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the Amendment to the Community Development Block Grant Subrecipient Agreement, as to form and content.

This is a reimbursement grant. Monthly requests for reimbursements are submitted as outlined in the grant award. The total reimbursement for this grant will not exceed $110,050.
