TITLE: Discussion and Possible Direction Regarding the City's 10-Year Capital Improvement Plan.

Recommended Action

Discuss and provide direction regarding updates and modifications to the City's 10-Year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) to be incorporated into the next budget cycle.

City Commission Options

Option 1: Provide direction regarding updates and modifications to the City's 10-Year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) to be incorporated into the next budget cycle.

* Pros: Aligns the plan with City Commission priorities and community needs.
* Cons: May require adjustments to projects, timelines, and budgets based on the direction provided.

Option 2: Leave the 10-Year CIP funding statuses as they are with no changes.

* Pros: No additional funding sources or budget adjustments required.
* Cons: Will limit the City's ability to address unmet infrastructure and service needs.

Background Information

During the Budget Workshop on July 23, 2025, the City Commission reviewed the 10-Year Capital Improvement Plan and requested it to be brought back at the September 2025 City Commission Workshop for further discussion.
