Recommended Action
Approve James Scheidel as the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board Liaison to the Veterans Park Advisory Committee to serve a two-year term from March 8, 2022, to March 8, 2024.
Background Information
Currently, the Veterans Park Advisory Committee has one vacancy for a member who also sits on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The vacancy was announced as required. The City Clerk has received an application from James Scheidel and no other applications have been submitted. Mr. Scheidel has been a resident of North Port for over 12 months and is currently the Chair on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. His application has been submitted for review and consideration.
