Recommended Action
Approve the appointment of Jeanne L. Osborn as the Tourism, Entertainment and Sports Representative on the Community Economic Development Advisory Board, to serve a two-year term from January 10, 2023, to January 10, 2025.
Background Information
Currently, there are three vacancies on the Community Economic Development Advisory Board. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received one application from Jeanne L. Osborn and there have been no other applications submitted. Ms. Osborn is requesting to be appointed as the Tourism, Entertainment and Sports Representative on the Board. She has been a resident of North Port for over 12 months and does not currently serve on any other Board or Committee. Her application has been submitted for review and consideration.
