Discussion and possible action regarding creation and storage of standard operating procedures and policies.

 

Background Information

 

There has been discussion at past meetings regarding the need for the creation of Standard Operating Procedures and Policies as the City Commission takes action that creates policy, procedure or define processes.  The City Manager, City Attorney and City Clerk have been discussing the creation of a centralized location for such policies and procedures.

 

Commissioner Luke has requested this be brought to the Commission for discussion and possible action to provide staff direction on moving forward to develop a centralized location and process for retention of Commission policies and procedures.
