Recommended Action

 

Approve the Annual Security Complete Limited Warranty Agreement for the Provision of Insurance Coverage in the Event of a Security Incident.

 

Background Information

 

The Annual Security Complete is a security tool that has been installed on City devices.  The Annual Security Complete Limited Warranty Agreement is a limited warranty should the City experience a security incident in the future.  In such an event, the security company will reimburse the City for expenses that directly result from that security incident up to a maximum amount not to exceed the cap set forth in the table below:

The Annual Security Complete Limited Warranty Agreement has been reviewed by the Interim City Attorney and is legally correct as to form. In addition, the Annual Security Complete Limited Warranty Agreement for the Provision of Insurance Coverage in the Event of a Security Incident has been reviewed and approved by the Risk and Benefits Manager, Human Resources Department.
