Recommended Action
Approve the Appointment of Melodi Wilson a Regular Member of the Veterans Park Advisory Committee, to Serve a Term from June 25, 2024, to June 25, 2027.
Background Information
Currently, there are vacancies for three Regular Members and two Alternate Members for the Veterans Park Advisory Committee. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received one application from Melodi Wilson. Ms. Wilson has been a resident of North Port for over twelve months and does not currently serve on any other Board or Committee. Florida Statutes 112.3143, Ms. Wilson has filed no conflicts of interest during her prior tenure on the Board(s). Her application has been submitted for review and consideration.
