TITLE: Discussion and Possible Action Regarding Approving the Two Appointments of Adrian Sari, Megan R. Taylor, or Bella G. Scott as Student Members to Serve a First Term on the Environmental Advisory Board From February 10, 2026, Through February 10, 2027.
Recommended Action
Option 1: Approve (insert two applicants) to serve in the Student Members category for the Environmental Advisory Board serving a first term from February 10, 2026, to February 10, 2027.
Option 2: Deny (insert applicants) to serve in the Student Members category for the Environmental Advisory Board serving a first term from February 10, 2026, to February 10, 2027.
Background Information
Currently, there are five vacancies on the Environmental Advisory Board, with only two vacancies for a Student Member. The vacancies were announced as required. The City Clerk received one application from Adrian Sari on January 8, 2026; one application from Megan. R. Taylor on January 19, 2026; and one application from Bella G. Scott on January 20, 2026, for appointment to the Environmental Advisory Board. Adrian Sari, Megan R. Taylor, and Bella G. Scott have been residents of North Port for over 6 months. The applications for Adrian Sari, Megan R. Taylor, and Bella G. Scott are submitted for the City Commission’s review and consideration.
There are no conflicts pursuant to Florida Statutes 112.3143.
