Recommended Action
Approve the appointment of Larry Langston as a Regular Member of the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, to serve a term from June 23, 2024, to June 23, 2027.
Background Information
Currently, there are one vacancy for Regular Members, two vacancies for Alternate Members and two vacancies for a Student Member for the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received one application from Larry Langston. Mr. Langston has been a resident of North Port for over twelve months and does not currently serve on any other Board or Committee. Florida Statutes 112.3143 regarding conflict disclosures is not applicable for this applicant. His application has been submitted for review and consideration.
