Option 1: Approve the Appointment of Walter Pawlowski as a Regular Member to serve a first term on the Community Economic Development Advisory Board from June 9, 2026, through June 9, 2029.

Background Information
Currently, there is one vacancy on the Community Economic Development Advisory Board for:
1. Higher education or unelected School Board representative.
2. Tourism, sports, or entertainment.
3. Diversified light industrial/manufacturing.
4. Land Use Attorney.
The vacancy was announced as required. The City Clerk received one application from Walter Pawlowski on May 5, 2026, for appointment to the Community Economic Development Advisory Board. Walter Pawlowski has been a resident of North Port for over 6 months and does not currently serve on any Boards. The application for Walter Pawlowski has been submitted for review and consideration.
There are no conflicts to note under Florida Statutes 112.3143.
