Background Information

At its February 7, 2022, regular meeting, the Environmental Advisory Board discussed a draft memorandum to the City Commission requesting more Board involvement in approving future development waivers that may impact the environment.    The Board also discussed a draft memorandum requesting that a representative from the Environmental Advisory Board be able to attend the regularly scheduled meetings of the Planning and Zoning, Parks and Recreation, and Historic and Cultural Advisory Boards.

The Board voted unanimously to send their memoranda dated February 7, 2022, to the Commission for consideration.  Commissioner McDowell has requested that both memoranda be brought to the Commission for discussion and possible action.
