TITLE: Approve the Master Services Agreement with Cumberland Group for the Purchase of a Replacement Storage Area Network in the Amount of $352,583.80.
Recommended Action
Approve the Master Services Agreement with Cumberland Group for the purchase of a Replacement Storage Area Network (SAN) in the amount of $352,583.80.
Background Information
The Information Technology Division would like to procure a replacement SAN which is a Capital Improvement Project (CIP) that will replace the hardware for City servers. The SAN houses all of the on-premises servers including the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) servers, SQL database servers, and file storage servers. This replacement occurs every five (5) years to help ensure that security, uptime availability, and technology are updated on aging equipment.
The Master Services Agreement with Cumberland Group for the purchase of a replacement SAN has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.

Financial Impact
Funding in the amount of $352,583.80 has been allocated in the Fiscal Year 2022 Budget, account number 321-0710-516-64-00, Project Number IT22SR, a replacement SAN.
Procurement
The purchase of the replacement SAN is exempt from competition per Sec. 2-403 (a) (4) a of the City of North Port Procurement Code the utilization of bids or contracts of other local governments or public entities to procure goods or services. The appropriate form has been included via attachment.
