Background Information

Florida Statutes Section 166.0451 requires that by October 1, 2023, and every three years thereafter, each municipality shall prepare an inventory list of all real property within its jurisdiction to which the municipality or any dependent special district within its boundaries holds fee simple title which is appropriate for use as affordable housing. The initial inventory list was approved by Resolution No. 2007-R-48 on November 13, 2007, and updated by Resolution No. 2020-R-31 on November 24, 2020.
