Discussion regarding communication for charter officer time off.

 

Background Information

 

At the Special Commission Workshop held on October 7, 2019, Human Resources presented an overview of exempt employees in the workplace as recognized by the Fair Labor Standards Act.  This brief presentation was brought forward to specifically discuss how to track time off for Charter Officers.  A best practices recommendation by Human Resources was to have Charter Officers communicate whole day absences to Commission accordingly.
