Recommended Action
Approve Julia Fritz and Rebecca Pearson as Student Members of the Art Advisory Board to Serve a one-year term from September 13, 2022, to September 13, 2023.
Background Information
Currently, there are two vacancies for Student Members on the Art Advisory Board. The vacancies were announced as required. The City Clerk has received applications from Julia Fritz and Rebecca Pearson, and there have been no other applications submitted. Ms. Fritz and Ms. Pearson are high school students, they have been North Port residents for more than 12 months and do not presently serve on any other Board or Committee. Florida Statutes 112.3143(6) regarding voting conflict disclosures is not applicable in this situation. Their applications have been provided for review and consideration.
