Recommended Action
Approve Burton C. Thomas as the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board Representative on the Veterans' Park Advisory Committee to Serve a Term from September 13, 2022, to September 13, 2024.
Background Information
Currently, there is one vacancy on the Veterans’ Park Advisory Committee for a Representative from the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The City Clerk has received one application from Burton C. Thomas and there have been no other applications submitted. Mr. Thomas has been a North Port resident for more than 12 months and presently serves as a Regular Member on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board where his attendance is excellent. He has no voting conflict disclosures to date in regard to Florida Statutes 112.3143(6). His application has been provided for review and consideration.
