Namack as a Regular Member on the Art Advisory Board to Serve a Two-Year Term from October 11, 2022, to October 11, 2024.
Recommended Action
Approve Samantha J. Parkinson to serve a second two-year term as a Regular Member on the Art Advisory Board from October 11, 2022, to October 11, 2024, and approve Wendy B. Namack as a Regular Member on the Art Advisory Board to serve a two-year term from October 11, 2022, to October 11, 2024.
Background Information
Currently, there are two Regular Member vacancies and two Alternate vacancies on the Art Advisory Board. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received two applications, one from Samantha J. Parkinson and one from Wendy B. Namack. Ms. Parkinson is currently seeking to serve a second term as a Regular Member on the Art Advisory Board. She has been a resident of North Port for over 12 months and her attendance has been excellent. Ms. Namack is seeking to serve as a Regular Member, she has been a resident of North Port for over 12 months, and she previously served on the North Port 50th Anniversary Committee where her attendance was excellent. There have been no conflict disclosures pertaining to Florida Statutes 112.3143(6) for either individual. Their applications have been provided for review and consideration.
