TITLE: Discussion and Possible Action Regarding the City of North Port 2023 State and Federal Legislative Priorities
Recommended Action
Discussion and direction with regard to the 2023 City of North Port State and Federal Legislative Priorities.
Background Information
The City of North Port monitors State and Federal legislation throughout the year to identify funding and other opportunities to ensure that the needs of the community are met. The City Commission reviews and adopts legislative priorities in preparation for the State and Federal Legislative sessions.
Attached are the 2022 legislative priorities the Commission considered. The Commission can add, delete, or modify the list as it deems appropriate.
The adopted priorities will be submitted to the Sarasota County Legislative Delegation after adoption by the Commission.
