Recommended Action
Appoint Barbara Lockhart to the Beautification and Tree/Scenic Highway Committee to serve from January 2, 2020 to January 2, 2022.
Background Information
Currently there are six (6) Regular Member and two (2) Alternate Member vacancies on the Beautification and Tree/Scenic Highway Committee. The vacancies have been announced as required and the City Clerk has received applications from Ms. Lockhart and one (1) other citizen. Ms. Lockhart has been a resident of North Port for approximately 18 years and currently serves on no other Boards or Committees. Ms. Lockhart served on the Environmental Advisory Board from July 10, 2018 through August 11, 2019 at which time she resigned due to scheduling conflicts. While serving on the Environmental Advisory Board her attendance was excellent. Her application has been provided for review and consideration.
