Approve the Submitter Merchant Payment Processing Instructions and Guidelines between Paymentech, LLC, JPMorgan Chase Bank and City of North Port, a supplemental document to the First Amendment to the Software as a Service Agreement between Tyler Technologies, Inc. and the City of North Port.
Background Information
Commission previously approved the First Amendment to Software as a Service Agreement between Tyler Technologies, Inc. and the City of North Port in the Amount of $2,988.00 for the use of Tyler Payments for invoicing and billing through the MobileEyes System for business related inspections by the Fire Rescue Department on September 24, 2024 (Agenda Item No. 24-1353).
Tyler Technologies has requested a supplemental document be signed in connection with the above-mentioned agreement in order to complete the set-up process. This supplemental agreement is between Paymentech, LLC, JPMorgan Chase Bank and City of North Port. Paymentech is the company that handles the processing of credit cards or electronic check payments for Tyler Technologies. Those transactions are processed through systems and networks owned by the Networks, each of which maintains its own set of Network Rules governing transactions processed over such Network. The Network Rules require that Paymentech have a direct contract with the merchant for which they process payment transactions through the Network.
