TITLE: Discussion and Possible Action Regarding Rescheduling the 4:00 p.m. City Commission Regular Meetings Held on the First Thursday of Each Month (Requested by Commissioner Petrow).
Recommended Action
To approve the rescheduling of the 4:00 p.m. City Commission Regular Meetings held on the first Thursday of each month to (insert day/time) for the rest of 2025.
Background Information
During the City Commission Regular Meeting held on December 10, 2024, the Commission adopted Ordinance No. 2024-38, approving the annual schedule for Commission Regular Meetings and Workshops. Commissioner Petrow would like to discuss alternative days/times to hold the 4:00 p.m. (Ceremonial) meetings that are currently scheduled for the first Thursday of each month.
Per Section 2.04 of Ordinance No. 2024-38, the City Commission, by majority vote may cancel or reschedule a meeting as long as one meeting is held each month.
