Background Information
Imagine School at North Port, Inc. is a tuition-free public Charter School that is currently enrolling students for the 2025-2026 school year. Imagine School at North Port, Inc. would like to implement the School Resource Officer Program at the school for the upcoming school year.
This Agreement provides for the assignment of two (2) regularly employed Police Officers to serve as School Resource Officer (SRO). The total fee to Imagine School at North Port is $196,742.00, payable in twelve (12) equal monthly installments over the Agreement term beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026. In the event that selection and placement of the SRO at Imagine School of North Port is not made by July 1, 2025, the total fee of $196,742.00 will be made in equal monthly payments beginning the first day of the following month that placement is made with the final payment being made on June 1, 2026. The Agreement may be terminated by either party with thirty (30) days written notice.
The Agreement Between Imagine School at North Port, Inc. and the City of North Port, Florida for the School Resource Officer Program has been reviewed by the Interim City Attorney and is legally correct as to form.
