TITLE: Discussion and Possible Action Regarding the City Clerk’s Annual Evaluation
Recommended Action
Option 1: To conclude the annual evaluation for City Clerk Heather Faust and give her a 0% salary increase at her request.
Background Information
Section 4 4.a. of the City Clerk’s Amended Employment Contract states:
“Annual Evaluation. The City Commission may at any time collectively review and evaluate the City Clerk's performance. The City Commission shall individually and collectively review and evaluate in writing the City Clerk annually, no later than November 1. The annual review and evaluation shall be in accordance with specific written criteria and policy approved by the City Commission, as may be amended from time to time. Performance evaluations and any associated compensation adjustments shall be brought up for approval by the City Commission at a public meeting.”
Due to personal and budgetary reasons, the City Clerk is requesting approval of a 0 percent increase in salary for this evaluation period and respectfully requests Commission honor that request.
