Recommended Action
Adoption of Resolution 2019-R-07- Investigation Policy of Charter Officers.
Background Information
At the February 4, 2019 Regular Commission Meeting, Commission directed the City Manager to have Human Resources draft procedures for receiving and processing complaints against Charter Officers. At that meeting, concern was expressed by Commission that if there is an issue regarding a Charter Officer, the City Manager cannot take actions beyond an investigation. The attached resolution and policy would address such matters.
