Recommended Action
Approve the appointment of Yeonwoo Kang as a Student Member of the Environmental Advisory Board, to serve a term from October 22, 2024, to October 21, 2025.
Background Information
Currently, there are two vacancies for Alternate Members and two vacancies for a Student Member for the Environmental Advisory Board. The vacancies have been announced as required. The City Clerk has received one application from Yeonwoo Kang. Mr. Kang has been a resident of North Port for over twelve months and does not currently serve on any other Board or Committee. Florida Statutes 112.3143 regarding conflict disclosures is not applicable for this applicant. His application has been submitted for review and consideration.
