Recommended Action
Appoint Larry McNellis as a Regular Member of the Citizens' Tax Oversight Committee, to serve a two-year term from November 23, 2021, to November 23, 2023.
Background Information
Currently, there are three vacancies for Regular Members on the Citizens’ Tax Oversight Committee. The vacancies were announced as required. The City Clerk has received one application from Larry McNellis for the Regular Member position and there have been no other applications submitted. Mr. McNellis has been a resident of North Port for over 12 months and does not serve on any other Boards or Committees. The City Clerk’s Department verified his voter registration on November 2, 2021, as required. Mr. McNellis’ application has been submitted for review and approval.
